UPDATE - NY SECTION, GUNKS CAMPGROUND WORK/PLAY WEEKEND

REGISTRATION

We were rained and hailed out in April, so let's kick off the spring climbing season again in May. Join the NY Section and local Chapters as we start the camping season with our Gunks Campground work-and-play weekend. In exchange for free camping, lunch, Saturday night dinner and two additional free nights camping over the summer, we ask participants to donate one day of the weekend to help get the campground ready for the season. New AAC Live Your Dream Grants Now Available

American Alpine Club "Live Your Dream" Grants Now AvailableThe purpose of the "Live Your Dream" Climbing Grant is to fund individuals or small teams in pursuit of their personal climbing dreams. The emphasis of the grant is on projects that have significant positive impact on grantees' progressions as climbers, as opposed to cutting-edge or exploratory objectives. The "Live Your Dream" Climbing Grants are developed and administered locally with community support. For the Northeast Region, the "Live Your Dream" Climbing Grant seeks to support climbers from a range of ages and experience levels, as well as a range of climbing disciplines (sport climbing, bouldering, traditional rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, etc.). Climbers from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland are eligible for the Northeast Region grant.
